This Bissell has become my go-to when something spills on the floor.

What’s not great is it doesn’t pick up all of the dog hair. We have a Labrador and sometimes it leaves white clumps on the ground. Also I did not receive the latest model I was sent the older one. Did not get all the extra shampoos and extras which are now advertised. Since the CrossWave Cordless Max is also a vacuum cleaner, it can happily suck up large bits of debris.

Like an old-fashioned Hoover, you simply push the handle into an upright position and, voila, it stands up on its own. The holidays are officially underway which means we’re spending a lot of time cleaning the house and doing our best to rid it of excessive pet fur. This is really important as the dogs start shedding their dyson robot vacuum summer coats to make way for even furrier winter coats. It even helps keep itself clean. If you have pets then you probably have experience with how keeping the vacuum clean of hair is a job in itself. This BISSELL is truly a multi-surface cleaner. When you think of BISSELL you probably think of a vacuum for carpet.

You simply fill the cleaning tray with water, press the ‘hard floor’ button and recline the machine allowing it to run for 15 seconds until all the water is picked up. When the job is done, all you need to do is remove the brush to dry. The Bissell multi-surface formula removes dirt and powers through stains and sticky messes for a thorough and streak-free clean.

There are handy fill lines for large and small areas, which means you won’t be wasting detergent. Although this model is called the CrossWave Cordless Max, it’s no bigger than the previous CrossWave Cordless. In fact, at just 5.22kg, this model is actually lighter than its predecessor. It’s also the recipient of a few design tweaks that make it the better cleaner overall. Self-cleaning cycle flushes out dirt and debris after every use, reducing the amount of clean-up after use and helping to maintain your CrossWave Cordless Max.

Unlike some of the best cordless vacuums on the market, the Bissell CrossWave has great first-time contact with big and small particles alike. The suction makes sure that no kibble, crumb, or grain of sand is left behind! I never have to go over loose debris more than once. Too frequently, we forget to clean the equipment we use (the fridge, washing machine, etc.) It’s something we need to be doing more to ensure things last much longer. Cleaning the Bissell Crosswave Cordless was quite straightforward and don’t even need to take the brush roll out. I’ve always viewed cleaning the floors as one of those tasks that are far harder than I imagined.

The Bissell CrossWave has helped me achieve this balance, and it could do the same for you. Paul is the owner and editor-in-chief of Luxurious Magazine.
