Sometimes, you might hit the timer button instead of the cook button. While the timer has many uses — it’s a great way to count down — it can be frustrating if you’re cooking food and hit the timer button by mistake. I would buy this microwave again & recommend it. Microwave in Matte Black is a great addition to our life. It has all of the features that you would need with a frigidaire gallery dishwasher microwave. We use our microwave several times a day from reheating a cup of coffee to making popcorn to defrosting. It does a great job, I have no complaints.
Not all microwaves come with a turntable, whether it’s removable or not. Turntables make it much easier to ensure your food cooks evenly by rotating your food automatically. You don’t have to rearrange it periodically by hand. Most Hamilton Beach microwaves come with a turntable, but check to make sure the microwave you’re looking at includes it if it’s something you want.
The black color is modern looking, and the buttons are flush with the surface. I thought that the button used to open the microwave took more pressure than I am used to. This could be a benefit in a household with small children, as it may prevent them from opening the microwave. However, for older people or those with dexterity issues, this could be a hinderance. First of all, i like its color, matte black.
They are not willing to do anything for refund or replacement just because I did not have my receipt. Who keeps a receipt for this because you don’t anticipate it happening? I will never buy anything that Hamilton Beach on it because they do not stand behind their products at all. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING THAT IS HAMILTON BEACH.
I will look for another older microwave on eBay and Craigslist to replace this Hamilton Beach joke. If you have an older microwave with a high-voltage transformer, there’s a chance that it will eventually go bad. If so, you’ll start to notice that your microwaves takes longer than usual to heat up foods. You may even smell something like burning plastic every once in awhile. A bad transformer can also cause your microwave to make noises when you try to heat up food.
