The bottom edge of the arm cuff should be 0.5 inch above the elbow. Air tube is on the inside of your arm and aligned with your middle finger. The measurement values continue to be stored in memory even after the batteries are replaced. If battery fluid should get on your skin, wash your skin immediately with plenty of clean, lukewarm water. If irritation, injury or pain persists, consult with your physician.
If the values between both arms differ substantially, please check with your physician which arm to use for your measurements. ONLY use the arm cuff on persons whose arm circumference is within the specified range of the cuff. DO NOT use this monitor with other medical electrical equipment simultaneously.
