I set the bike up in front of a window in my office and only needed 4 x 3 feet of space. I liked that the bike has transportation wheels on the front so I could easily hoist it up and roll it somewhere else in the room. We took the pieces out of the box and my husband carried the 49-pound flywheel and base. I was able to carry the rest of the pieces up myself.
