It’s the smallest of all the Keurig coffee makers, measuring just 4.5 inches wide by 11.3 inches tall by 12.1 inches deep. Tiny spaces like apartment kitchens, RVs, dorm rooms, offices – you name it. There is one thing that makes this brewer different from other Keurig® models; there is no water Hamilton Beach reservoir. Before you scoff at that notion keep in mind, that means fresh water for each cup of coffee. This happens to be the only reason I prefer this unit. Not only does water not sit in the unit all week while I am hard at work in the real world, but winter storage is also a non-factor.
This is definitely the easiest Keurig Mini to date. Push the button, wait a few seconds, then enjoy delicious coffee courtesy of Keurig. Another great feature is the built in storage unit Keurig K-Mini to hold all of your pods. You can keep up to 9 Keurig Mini K-Cup pods and use them immediately. You don’t have to go fussing around in the drawers anymore to find your coffee pods.
If you notice an undesirable taste in your beverage , we recommend using bottled or filtered water. If the brewer still doesn’t have power, contact Customer Service. If the electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your brewer may not function properly.
The bad part about pods is the space they take up and the trash they generate, not to mention the fact that they aren’t recyclable. Fast — takes about 2 minutes to make a cup of coffee. Before we get into the nitty-gritty specifics of this review, we’ll go through a few of the pros and cons of this coffee machine. Other than these three points the two units are identical. Most importantly the inner workings of the two machines are 100% identical Keurig K-Mini so they should have the same expected lifespan and should make the same exact tasting coffees. The older machines have been mostly discontinued due to poor performance, product durability, and customer’s distaste for the super short cup clearance.
