You can add between 6-12 ounces of water, and when you hit the brew button, the machine will use all of it. It also makes the machines compatible with travel mugs that are up to 7” long because of the added clearance.
The main detraction here is that there isn’t a cleaning indicator or program, so you’ll have to remember to run a full descaling cycle yourself.
