My Internist and Cardiologist recommended that I get a BP Monitor. I asked both, separately, if they would recommend a brand. Based upon web reviews, I decided to get the omron 3 series BP7200. It was difficult to purchase as most places (Omron, Costco, Walgreens, Walmart, etc.) were out of stock.

Accuracy is based on how the model’s readings compared with those taken on a mercury sphygmomanometer used by two trained testers. Avoid bathing, drinking alcohol or caffeine, smoking, exercising and eating for 30 minutes before taking a measurement. Ensure that the air tube is on the inside of the arm and wrap the cuff securely to prevent it from moving around. Take the measurement five minutes after seated and resting. The quality is excellent and the time of delivery was very quick, which was much appreciated.
