Aside from that, the unit was thought to be of high quality. One consumer specifically mentioned having a good experience with customer service, which is good to know, since some parts arrived either dented or scratched. For starters, the parts that come with the unit are made from superior stainless steel and cast iron.
Also, it is important to note that Weber grills may be different depending on the model type and place of production. You don’t even have to wait for good weather to grill, thanks to the indoor units that are on the market today. These grills have expanded in recent years, growing in size and capabilities.
I flipped between 6 and a dozen of the newer Spirit II and Gensis II line and I had not considered the lack of retail parts for them. Of course the Flavorizer, deflectors, and grates are available, but not the burner tubes . I love flipping these, as they are very easy to clean and the genesis char broil performance tubes come out tool less. The burners are built very well and I have never had to think about replacing them. This model is compatible with Weber’s $100 iGrill 3 app-enabled temperature probe. The other grills we tested don’t offer any smart accessories, which sets the Weber apart.
Unfortunately, these often aren’t dishwasher safe, though. There are a handful of grills with similar features to the Weber Spirit II E-310, including the Master Cook Classic Smart Space Living 3 Burner LP Gas Grill. Though the high-tech accessory isn’t included with this grill, we like that we have the option to invest in the device down the road. However, the easy-to-read fuel gauge located next to the gas tank helps make up for the less-than-attractive tank presentation. We were able to easily check how much fuel was left in the tank with a quick inspection.
But this grill’s best feature is probably the unheard-of ten-year warranty—excluding normal wear and tear, of course. The easy assembly of the Weber Spirit II E-310 is one of its strongest selling points; it only took us about an hour to put together after it was unboxed. There are about ten or so main pieces, and they easily fit together much like the instructions state they should. We also had some issues with the included gas hose and regulator. When we turned on the gas, there was a leak where the regulator meets the hose, requiring a run to the hardware store to replace the part.
There is also a 2-year warranty for all the remaining parts and paint. So, we will start will the exterior of the Weber Spirit II Genesis 2-Burner grill. To turn the second burner, simply turn the dial assigned to it without pressing the ignition system. The weight of 113.8 lbs can instill a fear that it is hard to move.
