If you don’t need any of those, the 5018s is probably the one to buy as it’s cheaper than the rest. It just clicks in place of the cassette, but that also means you’ll have to swap them every time. Instead, it comes with a separate trimmer that must be manually attached when you need to use it. The new Series 5 50 sticks to the same 3 blade shaving system as before. Good for a shaver within its price range and does the job OK, with effort though. For head-shaving the model that comes with extra attachments might be best suited. If you like anything that is convenient then cleaning your Series 9 shaver does not get any easier than this. If you want to keep using the cleaning station you will have to buy replacement cleaning cassettes as they run out. The trimmer has received quite a few complaints on how small it is compared to the trimmer on the previous Series 5 shaver.
