I’m 5’7″ and my husband is 5’9″ we both have to really check our strides so we don’t go off the back. It does completely fold up as advertised (as long as you don’t add the arms) and it really isn’t that heavy as long as you are using the wheels to move it around. You would have to be a tiny sprite to run quietly on it. It’s just a piece that is not as advertised.
I only ever used it at low speeds under my desk so I could still work comfortably while moving, and it slid out of the way easily for me to sit down when not in use. If a belt or bearing isn’t squeaking, it’s extremely quiet. Also, if you plan to use it with the bar down, you STILL have to have the safety magnet attached or else it will not run.
The equipment not light, front has wheels. I walk the treadmill every morning. It works like a gym treadmill except it could be a little wider.
