My husband called Frigidaire and they estimated a time of service be completed sometime in the WINTER! I am very disappointed with this company, as we purchased a refrigerator and a STOVE from them and I am in hopes they will not break on us. A lot of people have told me it is a lemon, and I wish not to believe them. I just hope the company would have the decency of sending a repair technician to take a look at the product, given that is is practically brand new. Unfortunately I could not be more disappointed and dissatisfied with my new Frigidaire Dishwasher. In spite of running hot water prior to the wash cycle, adding rinse aid the entire washer and dishes are very wet when the cycle is complete. I always need to hand dry the dishes and wipe out the washer and the towel is completely saturated when I finish. The dishwasher always has bad odor which I believe is due never being completely dry. I have several other Frigidaire appliances that I’m very pleased with, however complete swing and a miss with this dishwasher.
Also, clean any sticky liquid dishwashing detergent residue that may be preventing the lid from fully opening. Check if the soap dispenser is blocked– Items placed in the racks might be blocking the lid. Reload the pieces creating the obstruction. You should, therefore, check each individually while also ensuring that the door is tightly latched and the filter free of debris .
