I have bought multiple Little Tyle products for my grandkids through the years. The feature I like best is the durability of this product. You also have so many fun products to choose from. It would be great for my 2 youngest grandchildren who are 1 & 3.
The cottage is lovely, and my toddler has really taken possession of it! It was very simple to construct, looks nice, and I’m sure will last a few years of imaginative play. I think this could easily be resolved with a tiny design change, by having two latches/catches, top and bottom.
It’s a great height and size; not too large and cumbersome and can easily be moved by one person. I don’t have any Little Tikes products right now. Bought for my grandson and built immediately it arrived. Enlisted my daughters help to assist bounce pro trampoline with sticker application to make sure we had them as straight as possible. The “Little Tikes” stickers on the doors were pre applied in the factory. Annoyingly, neither are straight so there’s no better side to have facing outwards.
My daughter is just about to turn 1, just started walking and this thing is the best thing she’s ever experienced. Throw a few toys inside and she’ll be occupied, no problem. I can imagine us having this thing at least for the next few years. Let’s address the “inside is boring” comment.

My kids are grown so I don’t have any Little Tikes toys. My great-niece would love this in her back yard as a reading spot or a place to pretend. I think my kids would enjoy hours of imaginative play and I could enjoy some peace and quiet! We have quite a few little tikes toys and we like how durable they are, with three boys that’s kind of a big deal. The Playhouse comes in an over sized box and it does show what it is on the outside so keep that in mind if you order it as a gift.
When she sticks her head out the window, she steals my heart. We have it set up inside as there’s not much point in having it outside in the winter but will move it out once it starts to get warm again. Love that it has a little letter slot and the windows can open as well as the doors. The setup was simple and it looks pretty sturdy. I don’t like the fact that some of the details have stickers. I’m sure they’ll peel off or become discolored as it’s an outdoor playhouse.
We have the Little Tykes Sizzle and Serve grill and a kids picnic table. I love that this house is easy to put together and take apart if needed. I am looking forward to seeing my kids continue to play with the bounce pro trampoline throughout the summer and the rest of the year. I only had to break out a screw driver to attach the flag holder.

The Cape Cottage Playhouse is the perfect size for our little lad, and has also captivated our five year old and seven year old nieces.
