The rest of the mids existed around the vocals, and there was clear definition between mids and highs. We didn’t experience any muddiness, but we also didn’t feel like the notes were crystal clear. As for soundstage, which we usually devote an entire section to, we can’t say much. Like the vocals, the soundstage exists, but it’s not something to call home about. Overall, we’ve never felt so indifferent or uninspired by a product’s sound. The button on the left ear cup is painfully and unapologetically plastic and sounds cheap every time you click the button.

However, you won’t find an app filled with features that might be daunting to use. The Beats Studio3s home in on great sound with features that you’ll use in a comfortable and vibrant design. Beats says the W1 chip is what allows the adaptive noise canceling to be always monitoring the world without draining the battery. I hear there are better noise reduction headphones out there but for me that hasn’t been an issue.

The Plantronics, on the other hand, have a better wireless range and battery life than the Beats. They also have easier-to-use controls with more functionality, and they sound a bit more exciting thanks to their deep and powerful bass range. The beats solo pro wireless Wireless are better headphones than the Beats Solo Wireless. The Studio3 are over-ear headphones that are more comfortable and have a good-performing ANC feature.
