My kids are grown so I don’t have any Little Tikes toys. My great-niece would love this in her back yard as a reading spot or a place to pretend. I think my kids would enjoy hours of imaginative play and I could enjoy some peace and quiet! We have quite a few little tikes toys and we like how durable they are, with three boys that’s kind of a big deal. The Playhouse comes in an over sized box and it does show what it is on the outside so keep that in mind if you order it as a gift.
We currently don’t own any Little Tikes toys. Loving the fact that the playhouse is easy to assemble. We own a little tikes kitchen and a couple of skywalker trampoline 15 other play toys. I bought my granddaughter a play tent and she loves it but its not very sturdy and we are constantly having to put it back up.
Again, it’s cheap for a reason people. Don’t expect a light up fireplace and full chefs kitchen in here with all the sounds and sparkles. We purchased a little 68$ kitchen that fit perfect on the inside, installed some push-lights on the ceiling and there you go, have some fun with it. It features 2 working doors, 2 windows with working shutters, a mail slot and flag holder. Playing house is a timeless way for kids to be creative and express their imagination.
The cottage is lovely, and my toddler has really taken possession of it! It was very simple to construct, looks nice, and I’m sure will last a few years of imaginative play. I think this could easily be resolved with a tiny design change, by having two latches/catches, top and bottom.
We have a toy box and firetruck…she would love this house reminds me of grandma’s house. It is so cute the flag holder is awesome. We have a little tyke wagon and toy box, love the mail slot. My niece loves getting mail and this would be perfect for her. I have paired the Little Tikes Cape Cottage Playhousewith other toys we have outside, and it has enhanced playtime. I even added an American flag to give it a real home feel.
I do not have any Little Tykes products. I like how easy the playhouse looks to assemble. We do own some little tikes toys we have the coupe and a couple and basketball hoop. I like the flag at the door for the entry way on the playhouse.
This was one of the easiest kid toys that I have ever put together. The instructions were straightforward, and the pieces fit together nicely.
