I did some digging, and found the Sun Joe SPX3000 Electric Power Washer, which I’m pleased to tell you all about below. If you like to spend a lot of time outdoors, and by outdoors I mean your backyard you will know how much work it takes to keep it clean and tidy. Personally, I like to fire up the grill as often as I can and have some people over.

I’ve heard people rave about them but I had the misconception that they were overly expensive or required a separate air compressor. But that changed when I got my hands on the Sun Joe Electric Pressure Washer SPX3000. Next thing westinghouse pressure washers you know, the grime is disappearing from your pavement. I want to thank Sun Joe for the opportunity to review this product. Therefore, neither of them will, out of the box, allow for a higher freedom of movement around the unit.

It has a higher cleaning unit capacity than the SPX3500, which means it cleans more efficiently. Cleaning Unit can be calculated by multiplying the PSI and GPM. The unit is equipped with a total stop system that disengages the washer as soon as you stop pushing the trigger. It is also virtually impossible to start accidentally with its trigger lock mechanism. The average hose length is 25 ft., so you’re really not losing much here, but it’s relevant if you have a big yard .

Assembly took about 30 minutes, and while not particularly difficult, it was still the hardest setup of all pressure washers we reviewed. This machine is also fairly quiet, reaching an average of 81 decibels. The biggest problem we had with the Sun Joe SPX3000 pressure washer was putting it together – a process more tedious than with the other pressure washers we tested. Using the Sun Joe SPX3000 was a mostly positive experience. The pressure gun is easy to use and it has a trigger lock, which can improve safety and protect the trigger from damage while in storage.

For the SPX3000 XTREAM, this is achieved via a foam cannon attachment, whereas the SPX3000 uses a dual detergent tank system. Some nice features of this unit were that the power cord was adequate. Overall, I don’t really think these issues rate as serious problems. One design flaw is that the garden hose connects to the front and the pressure hose to the back. So you really have to have it side-on to the work you’re doing.

As both units feature a 35 ft power cord, their maximum allowable placement from an electrical outlet is the same. Getting this washer to work is as simple as pressing a single button, that’s all there is to it. This is due to the fact that it’s an electric power washer which is much easier to use than gas. Of course, I would advise you not to do that since pressure washers are incredibly powerful and dangerous when not used properly. Be careful with older paint, though, unless you deliberately want to strip it off. If you’re washing your house and you get too close and you’ve got scaly paint, a good pressure washer will just blow it off.

Unfortunately, it has no rotary nozzle, so for especially deep cleaning, you need to rely on the 0-degree nozzle or use the 15-degree tip at extremely close range. This sun joe spx 3000 is not ideal due to the danger of the concentrated spray, both to you and the material you’re cleaning. This blog is written by a group of Garden Tool enthusiasts.
