Keurig® Mini Instructions: Coffee Has Never Been Easier

The main detraction here is that there isn’t a cleaning indicator or program, so you’ll have to remember to run a full descaling cycle yourself. Keurig K-Mini is a good machine, but may not be suitable for everyone. It most certainly is not a good choice for coffee lovers who like experimenting with brewing coffee. Furthermore, it might not be a great choice for those who would like to try coffee grounds or brew more advanced coffee beverages. You simply fill the water reservoir up to the 6-, 8-, 10-, or 12-ounce line, turn it on, insert a K-Cup, and press the large glowing button to start brewing. The K-Mini can’t brew coffee at consistent or appropriate temperatures, and even at its best, its coffee tastes similar to what you’d find at a cheap diner. The K-Mini is pretty barebones as far as Keurig machines go. It features two buttons — one to power it on and the other to brew — and a water reservoir fit for up to 12 ounces.

It fits seamlessly under the spout to save you even more counter space. Anyone who has ever taken a stroll through the appliance section in any store knows the name Keurig. Keurig is known as a revolutionary brand dedicated to making a cup of coffee easy, simple, and quick to obtain. Co-creators John Sylvan and Peter Dragone began the company by experimenting with a single-serve coffee machine. I’ve had this for two months and it’s the best single serve coffee maker I’ve ever had. Maintaining the K-Mini relies on Keurig’s descaling solution, which you need to use every three to six months to clean your machine.

The K-Mini is compatible with reusable K-Cup pods, which can accommodate pre-ground coffee. The Keurig K-Mini Plus is not a coffee maker for everyone. If you’re looking for a reliable coffee maker that makes it incredibly easy to brew a single cup at a time, this is the one for you.

Its stow-away power cord makes it easy to hide unwanted visual clutter and easier to bring the K-Mini along for a weekend trip. As you might guess from the tiny size of the K-Mini Plus, it doesn’t offer a huge number of custom brewing features.

Keurigs are big on convenience but not so great with control. There are no temperature or brew controls to speak of on this little machine, with only a power button and a brew button. Overall, the K Mini Plus is an excellent design from a well-trusted Keurig K-Mini and beloved brand in the world of coffee. It’s the ideal solution for anyone who has minimal space, lives on their own, and just enjoys a good, old-fashioned cup of coffee. Place your mug under the spout, removing the drip tray if necessary.
