It would be nice to have a bit more space inside, otherwise it is a very clean design and heats food thoroughly and completely. Every time, it heated the food in the same amount of time it would have taken the Frigidaire, hamilton beach 900 watt microwave proving to be just as powerful with its 900 watts. We got this microwave at a very nice price and since then it works with no problems. The unit is very easy in use and it does the job that it’s suppose to.
Moving into a small apartment, I’m in need of a 900-watt microwave oven. My 8-year-old Hamilton Beach uses 1000 watt, and once or twice a week it short-circuits the small kitchen power. For the past 8 years, the old microwave oven worked fine in my former home. It is still functional and operating well. It’s just that I am done with going out to the fuse box to reset the switch.

I bought a Hamilton Beach Microwave and up under the plate it has started to rust. I have only had this microwave for two yrs and I called them. They are not willing to do anything for refund or replacement just because I did not have my receipt. Who keeps a receipt for this because you don’t anticipate it happening? I will never buy anything that Hamilton Beach on it because they do not stand behind their products at all.
Do not place any items on top of microwave and do not remove the legs from the bottom of the microwave. I enjoyed using the Hamilton beach microwave oven works great, only issue it’s bulky. We tested out several of these settings, and overall, they performed really well. We think the Beverage button is particularly useful, as it allows you to choose between 4-, 8-, 12-, and 16-ounce options. We used it to warm up water for tea, and it brought the 12 ounces of liquid to just under 200 degrees Fahrenheit—just shy of boiling. If you use Express Cook all the time, you’ll particularly appreciate this model’s expanded set of features.
For the cost, which swings between $85 and $130, you can get plenty of presets, power levels, and special features.
