Weber Spirit II S-310 45000001 Grill Review

The storage space has enough space for the tank and your grilling accessories too. The Spirit E-310 comes in smart, easy-to-control, features the iconic GS4 grilling system and integrates well with technology. Typical to grills in the Spirit series, the Spirit E-210 is a perfect entry point to the grilling game for newbies. With a compact frame, and Blackstone Adventure simply excellent features that are easy to work with, this grill is excellent value for money. While most models of the Spirit II series are designed to be an upgrade of the Spirit, some common features define the Spirit line up of Weber grills. These grills are backed by a longer warranty than the Spirit grills but have fewer models available.

It is recommended to clean the inner and outer surfaces regularly to protect the product from natural factors. I do use my gas grill when we simply want to be outside, and I fancy a very quick snack in the simplest most fuss-free way possible, but my gas grill is my least used bit of kit. The only reason to overlook it or replace it would be the need for extra cooking space. It’s stupidly easy to cook with because ease of use is at the forefront of its design. For that reason, you should give it serious consideration as your next grill if it fits your bill. You can easily access the grease tray to scrape it and then wash with soapy water, and the disposable aluminum catch pans are just swapped out for fresh ones.

While maintaining a few of the better features like an expansive grilling area, the Spirit II came out with an upgrade in a few features. The Spirit II models, for instance, come in a lighter design and use only 2 sturdy wheels, where their predecessors used to use 4. On top of this, these grills came with a few color options for the lid.

More importantly, these wheels can be locked to keep your grill in place. The Spirit II comes in an improved design, with 2 wheels that are bigger and thicker. These wheels are specifically designed to make movement easier on rougher terrains. With it getting sunnier by the day, BBQ enthusiasts are firing up their grills and setting up their grilling gear. If you’re familiar with the grilling game, the name ‘Weber’ rings a sound bell. For those of you who are relatively new, I would like to take some time to tell you how and why Weber produces some of the best grills out there.

The double doors feel substantial, and they swivel smoothly in their hinges. However, we’re bummed that Weber decided to move the propane tank hook and gauge from the side to under the firebox inside the cart. We can only imagine the crawling and contorting one must do to hook a full tank of liquid propane in that small cabinet. The Genesis E-325s has a bigger right-hand side table—23 inches wide by 17¾ inches long—than the previous version. That’s enough space to hold a half baking sheet, with room to spare.

Available in both gas and charcoal options, this is the premium line of offering. An introductory line of offering, the grills under this series comes with the iconic GS4 grilling, ignition, 10-year warranty, and flavorizer bars that prevent flare-ups. The characteristic feature of these grills is their affordability, intelligent design and size options. Weber-Stephen is one of the oldest and most respected manufacturers of BBQ equipment and related accessories in the world. Weber grills and smokerscook beautifully and have great features that are clever, effective and easy to use. Even in this crowded marketplace, many consumers are still willing to pay more for the Weber name and they are rarely disappointed.

To monitor the cooking temperature, we generally don’t rely on thermometers built into the hood. Instead, we placed our digital thermometer in the middle area, and it registered a cooking temp of 295°F. At that temperature, poultry cooks gently and thoroughly while developing delicious brown skin. Cook too low and you risk dry meat and rubber skin; too high and you may have to snatch the bird off the grill to prevent burning the outside before the bird is properly cooked inside. We dialed up 325°F by goosing the left and right burners to Medium. Whole chicken or turkey are good candidates for the thin side of the grates.

Weber also switched the direction of the rods on the upper rack so that they now run back to front, instead of side to side. This makes slipping a spatula under the food so much easier. The Genesis E-325s is the only one of our picks that we haven’t physically tested, but we did check it out in person at a few different stores.
