Shark’s Stratos vacuum cleaner range has a clever anti-odour feature

She is an active member of the ASTM Committee on vacuum cleaners and chairman of the consumer information sub-committee. Cleaning the fine dust from hard floors, especially wood, that other vacuums miss is so much easier with this Dyson Omni-glide. The dual soft fuzzy rollers let you pick up dirt whether you push or pull it and the omnidirectional head cleans quickly in any direction, even sideways!

The Tineco S11 is one of the lightest, most comfortable-to-use vacuums that also have enough cleaning power to work pretty well on most rugs (though it’s not quite the best we’ve tested). A unique dust sensor makes it easy for you to focus your efforts on areas that are actually dirty. Image Credit The floor head has the CleanSense display on it, which shows you dyson robot vacuum how much dirt is being picked up. With the CleanSense mode selected on the vacuum cleaner, it can adjust its power according to the mess, which is good for battery life, as the vacuum cleaner only uses as much power as it needs. It’s a versatile system, whining down to low power when there’s not much dirt and then up to maximum power when the floor is dirty.

Although the Shark IZ420UKT superficially looks like its predecessor, the Shark IZ320UKT, this new model retains the best features of the old cleaner and adds some new ones into the mix. It also doesn’t stand up on its own, which can be a pain if you need to move something out of its path. Still, it’s certainly versatile, and it glided well as a mop, leaving our floors sparkling and only lightly damp. If you can justify the price, you won’t regret the purchase.

While this ROIDMI vac doesn’t have the size or attachments of some of the handheld picks in our guide this is still a fantastic choice for those smaller areas. Also a top pick for cars and upholstery thanks to its powerful suction. The Anti-Odour technology will feature irobot vacuum cleaner in all five vacuum cleaners in the new Stratos range with launched this month. They all also feature Sharks Anti Hair Wrap Plus, ideal for pet owners and Anti-Allergen Complete Seal, which promises to trap 99.9 per cent of dust and allergens inside the vacuum.

I’ve reviewed the IZ420UKT (£549.99) model, which includes the pet hair brush and two batteries. There’s also the IZ420UK, which has one battery (£479.99), and the IZ400UK (£449.99), which has one battery and no pet tool. The base units and suction power are the same between all versions. It’s worth noting that it is a bit cumbersome; it’s got a large charging station that works best mounted on a wall and testers found it quite heavy as a handheld vacuum. That said, its “SelfStand” feature means it can stand upright unsupported and it has a great selection of tools, including a large soft brush that can be angled to get into tight spots too. We love the headlights on the brush head and how easy it is to empty the canister.

And on board storage keeps all of the tools—a dusting brush, crevice tool and extension wand—in one place and close by when you need them. It has good ratings from several other publications that test and review vacuums, but we didn’t find it to be outstanding on either bare floors or carpets. It doesn’t convert to a handheld vacuum, and the handling is stiff—though not top-heavy, as with most other cordless sticks. Another useful feature on the V15 is Auto mode, which automatically adjusts the suction level depending on the situation to maximize the cleaning ability while preserving battery life when possible. For the V15, the suction automatically changes depending on the floor type, using a brush-resistance sensor, as well as on how dirty an area is, based on what the built-in particle counter finds .
