Keurig® Mini Instructions: Coffee Has Never Been Easier

With the reusable My K-Cup, you can use any ground coffee in your K-Mini brewer, which has three big advantages versus a pre-packaged coffee pod. By sliding out the removable drip tray, you can get up to 7 inches of clearance beneath the brew spout. The crown jewel of the Keurig 2.0 pod-scanning system, feature-rich K500 series brewers offer 11 brew sizes and massive 80 oz reservoir. Now discontinued, we recommend the Keurig K-Duo Plus instead.

The machine setup is as minimal as it gets, with no added attachments or accessories. The water reservoir and drip tray are detachable for easy cleaning, and it comes in a variety of colors suited to any taste. It accommodates different cups, including travel mugs. The machine also comes with removable pod storage that fits nicely under the handle and can hold up to 9 k-cups.

This is the coffee machine to buy because you want a perfect cup of plain coffee very quickly and with very little effort. Once you turn the machine on, and give it about 30 seconds to heat up, you’re only one button press and 1 to 2 minutes away from a steaming cup of java. Are you looking for a foolproof single- serve coffee maker? The ultra-compact Cuisinart Coffee Plus is about as easy to use as they come, brewing a single cup of coffee at the press of a button. Both the Keurig Mini and Mini Plus are entry-level Keurig machines. The K-Mini was Keurig’s most affordable coffee maker before it released the K-Express Essentials.

More and more coffee lovers like to prepare their daily coffee with a K-cup single-serve coffee maker for convenience. One feature I wish was included with this machine is a removable water reservoir for cleaning. Unfortunately, that’s not a thing, but at least it’s easy to reach. With its 12-ounce water reservoir, it’s capable of brewing a single cup of coffee at a time, which is great if that’s all you need.

The “Strong Brew” function makes all the difference for coffee enthusiasts who enjoy a strong drink. Meanwhile, the removable water reservoir Hamilton Beach cuts out a lot of hassle while cleaning the coffee maker. Finally, the K-Mini Plus’s pod container is a welcome addition, too.

If I don’t get a new one for free I will not recommend and not buy another Keurig. I will also post on the Keurig website about my troubles. At the time of publishing, the black version was the most affordable. However, looking at historical data, the price seems to fluctuate between different colors. Oasis and Studio Gray can be much more affordable than Black.

The Sboly is comparable to the K Mini Plus in size, and it actually weighs less. It has both plastic and stainless steel elements with a black and silver design that suits most kitchens. The one-button operation makes it as easy to use as the K Mini, with separate buttons for ground coffee and K-Cups.

With the latch open, it’s roughly 13 inches in height. Its slim silhouette fits neatly on a counter and can easily stand between other appliances you may already have in your kitchen. Using the My K-Cup does do away with some of the convenience Keurig brewers are known for. You’ll have to add about a minute or two of prep and cleanup to your morning coffee routine. If that’s incompatible with busy weekday mornings, maybe consider this option for slower weekend brews. Better yet, the Keurig K-Mini coffee makers work with the My K-Cup refillable pod.

We hope this post has been helpful and given you some insight into whether the Hamilton Beach is the right machine for you! Remember to consider how often you’ll use the machine and your priorities when making your ultimate decision. This will be easy to determine with the convenient levels marked right in the well of the unit. Temperature consistencyReflects how closely the second cup matches the first cup in temperature.

Great little one cup coffee maker and a wonderful choice of colors. I took it to the beach for a “girl’s weekend getaway” and we enjoyed it so much more than brewing a full pot of coffee each morning. We were each able to choose our own brand of coffee and did not have to drink from a large pot that usually would run out before we all had our fill. It’s even small and light enough to be considered portable, at least in the context of road trips.
