Weber Spirit II S-310 45000001 Grill Review

Available in both gas and charcoal options, this is the premium line of offering. An introductory line of offering, the grills under this series comes with the iconic GS4 grilling, ignition, 10-year warranty, and flavorizer bars that prevent flare-ups. The characteristic feature of these grills is their affordability, intelligent design and size options. Weber-Stephen is one of the oldest and most respected manufacturers of BBQ equipment and related accessories in the world. Weber grills and smokerscook beautifully and have great features that are clever, effective and easy to use. Even in this crowded marketplace, many consumers are still willing to pay more for the Weber name and they are rarely disappointed.

The storage space has enough space for the tank and your grilling accessories too. The Spirit E-310 comes in smart, easy-to-control, features the iconic GS4 grilling system and integrates well with technology. Typical to grills in the Spirit series, the Spirit E-210 is a perfect entry point to the grilling game for newbies. With a compact frame, and char broil performance simply excellent features that are easy to work with, this grill is excellent value for money. While most models of the Spirit II series are designed to be an upgrade of the Spirit, some common features define the Spirit line up of Weber grills. These grills are backed by a longer warranty than the Spirit grills but have fewer models available.

Weber also switched the direction of the rods on the upper rack so that they now run back to front, instead of side to side. This makes slipping a spatula under the Blackstone Adventure food so much easier. The Genesis E-325s is the only one of our picks that we haven’t physically tested, but we did check it out in person at a few different stores.

I think that this was, by far, the most packaging that I have ever seen with a product. Shop your favorite products and we’ll find the best deal with a single click. I wanted to review this grillbecause I love its bright color. I have only had it a few months but already I have found it to be so much better than any grill I have had before. Get the best value on product protection including fast repairs or replacements.

The entire Spirit II line interfaces with Weber’s iGrill 3 smart thermometer ; this can alert you, through an app downloaded to your phone, when your food has reached certain temperatures. For now, we think a simple probe thermometer, like the ThermoWorks Dot, could alert you in a similar way for less cost. For our 2022 update, we relied mainly on market research and meta-analysis. Most new grills worth considering are still produced by the same companies whose products we’ve tested in previous years.

On a cold day with ambient temperatures in the upper 30°F range and all three burners on the low setting, Spirit II registered temps of about 410°F in front and 440°F in back. With all burners on High, temps were about 600°F front and 680°F back. For 2018, Weber sticks to the basics with a revamped version of their popular, full-size, entry-level Spirit gas grill line.

It comes with Weber’s great build quality and easy on the eye design, which also makes it a popular choice for folks when compared to other brands that use lower-quality materials. The three-burner setup is as powerful as a standard 4-burner grill, plus it has an extra burner squeezed in to create the sear station. As if we weren’t already impressed with the look of the grill, a quick scan of the features leaves us in awe of how much Weber has squeezed into this compact unit. But to top it off, the control knobs and other parts of the grill are branded with the weber logo and color-coded like you would get in a high-end sports car, it shouts quality.

The double doors feel substantial, and they swivel smoothly in their hinges. However, we’re bummed that Weber decided to move the propane tank hook and gauge from the side to under the firebox inside the cart. We can only imagine the crawling and contorting char broil performance one must do to hook a full tank of liquid propane in that small cabinet. The Genesis E-325s has a bigger right-hand side table—23 inches wide by 17¾ inches long—than the previous version. That’s enough space to hold a half baking sheet, with room to spare.

Even so, it was easier to put together with help from someone else. It took my colleague,Molly Price, and I just over an hour to finish building the Spirit II. Weber’s red $599 Spirit II E-310 gas grill cooks pretty well, but costs too much.

While there is no compromise in quality with the Spirit II, they are comparatively less expensive than their original counterparts. The Spirit excellently combined innovation and performance to get the best grilling results in a smaller footprint. One of the interesting drawbacks is the difference in warranty the Spirit has vs the Spirit II. More on this later.
