The water reservoirs of both machines are the same size, offering a minimum of 6oz and a maximum of 12oz. There are water level marks on the side to determine the volumes, making filling the water tank straightforward.
Of course, this means the water tank will need refilling with each brew. This is one of the main differences between these smaller machines and other Keurig machines with a multi-cup water reservoir. Hamilton Beach brews a perfectly satisfying cup of coffee. Though there’s no big fanfare or sophistication in flavors, K-Mini can do its job well. Further, the brewing process is extremely simple, easy and convenient. Keurig K-Mini seems to be reasonably priced given the features, technology and design.

With this coffee maker, it’s all about enjoying coffee, as opposed to indulging in the coffee brewing process. I did not need any advanced skills or knowledge in order to brew a neat cup of coffee. If you really like this model but you want a bigger water tank, they now make Keurig K-Slim. It looks exactly like K-Mini Plus, has 3 cup sizes, but comes with a 46 ounce removable water tank. This machine includes pod storage that slides right into your brewer to hold nine of your favorite K-Cups when you’re not using it.
