The WF-4830 feels better built, and it has outstanding scanning features, and its automatic document feeder can automatically scan double-sided sheets. It also produces higher quality photos and has a much larger input capacity since it has two trays. The M5000 series has a 10,000-page cartridge yield and up to 580 sheets maximum paper capacity with fast print speeds of 20 ISO page-per-minute.
Its photo quality should be decent enough for reports or photos, and while it struggles to accurately reproduce blues, the color accuracy is decent enough for most casual use. The scanner features are exceptional, especially if you need to scan double-sided documents often. However, its cartridge system isn’t as good as other printers with much higher page yields.
