While Weber’s sear zone has been smaller in the past, this time they upped the size so you can get multiple steaks seared at once so everyone can eat at the same time. The three burners put out 32,000 BTUs per hour over the 529 total square inches of cooking space. The main cooking are is 424 square inches and the warming rack adds another 105. The Spirit line serves as a more introductory line and the grills feature 32,000 BTUs per hour as their normal operating specs.
