Use the 15º fan-tip nozzle for intense cleaning jobs on hard surfaces. Applications include stripping paint, removing oil stains, grease, heavy mildew stains, and rust from steel. This nozzle should only be used in areas that can withstand the high-pressure from this nozzle. Always test the detergent in an inconspicuous area before use.Allow the detergent to remain on the surface for a short time before rinsing with the pressure washer. Do not allow the detergent to dry on the surface.

Many customers recommend replacing the plastic garden hose adapter that comes with the Sun Joe SPX3000 because it has a tendency to leak and also, because it’s plastic is also likely to crack or break easily. Clean the nozzle with the needle clean-out tool provided (Fig. 27). Remove the stainless steel lance from the gun; remove any dirt from the nozzle hole and rinse.

Always empty water from all hoses, the pump, and the detergent bottle before storing. Disconnect the high-pressure hose connection on the trigger gun handle. These chemicals will harm the unit and will damage the cleaning surface. Make sure the On/Off switch is set to the OFF position before plugging the unit into the power outlet (Fig. 14).

Remove additional debris by back flushing water through the nozzle and stainless steel lance. To do this, place the end of your garden hose to the tip of the nozzle, pushing water and debris out of the back opening of the nozzle and stainless steel lance.

There’s no need to worry about portability either thanks to the fact that the SPX3000 weighs only 31 lbs, and its wheeled design allows you to transport it to wherever you need to clean with minimal fuss and hassle. Forget about anywhere being off limits too, as the SPX3000 comes with a 20-foot hose and a 35-foot power cable to help you clean further afield with ease. By switching the motor off, the TSS helps prevent the pump from overheating which in turn prolongs its life and helps save energy. You can store the five quick-connect nozzles on the SPX3000’s frame as shown in the image below, helping to keep them safe and secure and ensuring that they’re available for whenever you need them most.

Connect the high-pressure hose to the water outlet on the washer (Fig. 11).WARNING! Examine hoses regularly and replace if damaged. Do not cover or modify the stainless steel lance or the spray nozzles in any way. Never pull the pressure washer by the cord or yank the cord to disconnect it from the receptacle. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, and sharp edges. Do not touch the appliance or its plug with wet hands or while standing in water.

Doing so could result in damage to the pressure washer or injury to the user. For electric models, extended use or the use of an improper extension cord can cause the motor to overheat.
