The floorhead release hinge unlocks with very little effort, making it hard to roll the vacuum around when it’s positioned completely upright. You’ll likely find it easier to move the vacuum from place to place by using the grab handle, which has a rubberized surface to give you a more secure grip. Most of its controls are within easy reach, with its surface mode switch on top of the handle and a detergent trigger just underneath it. It’s perfect for large areas with many types of flooring, including tile floors, wooden floors, and can even clean area rugs and carpets. It leaves your carpets slightly damp, but they dry quickly. I will say, this does not replace a carpet shampooer.
This way, I can alternate the two between cleaning my floors. The crosswave is much more expensive with many more features but essentially does the same thing as the pet pro model. I don’t think it has a strong enough mopping function to clean grout lines. It does a great job at refreshing everything, but it’s not as powerful as say a steam mop.
I also appreciate that due to it’s compact size, it cleans small areas just as well as large areas. It’s listed as a high-performance vacuum with its fast cleaning ability. People love that it works as a carpet cleaner, a steam mop, a dry vacuum, and wet vacuum. I was disappointed that this machine is 1) heavy and hard to maneuver; 2) takes up more room than expected; 3) leaves a puddle of dirty water once you stop cleaning.
However, the Cordless Max can be used to easily clean faraway rooms with minimal difficulty. It also features a self-cleaning function that slightly reduces hands-on maintenance requirements. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max is reasonably maneuverable. Its floorhead pivots, allowing you to maneuver around obstacles pretty easily. It can be hard to push around on low and high-pile rugs, as its brushroll can get bogged down on carpet fibers pretty easily.
It can run for almost 40 minutes on a single charge, which should give you enough time to clean most rooms without running out of charge. You can absolutely use the bissell crosswave as just a vacuum. It works well to clean messes on hard or soft surfaces by vacuuming and mopping, but it can be used as just a vacuum. It works well at freshening up carpets, including rubber floor mats, while also cleaning multiple types of hard flooring. I liked it for my tile floor, but not so much on carpet. Especially when you clean hard floor at the same like you So, it is an expensive mop.
The irobot vacuum cleaner Max performs superbly on bare floors. It easily clears away small and bulky debris like rice and cereal, with no significant loss in suction performance as its dustbin fills up. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max offers good battery performance.

You can also configure it as a handheld vacuum to better-clean hard-to-reach areas. Conversely, the BISSELL is a cordless upright vacuum/mop with a detergent-dispersal function to help scrub away dried-on stains.
To use this feature all you have to do is make sure there is enough solution in the tank. If not, fill up the tank with warm water to the self-cleaning line. My cleaning isn’t delayed by having to clean the brushes and then letting them dry before using again, because they do need to be rinsed with hot water between uses. You can even set up helpful alerts to make sure your vacuum stays in perfect working condition. You just have to set up bissell app alerts all within the app.
