Engaging the trigger lock keeps the spray wand from accidentally discharging high-pressure spray that could injure or cause damage. The Sun Joe Pressure Washer comes with five nozzles, each with a different spray pattern. The 40° nozzle has a wider spray for gentle cleaning of surfaces that could be damaged by a stronger Champion Power Equipment spray. The 25° nozzle is intended for general cleaning, 15° for tougher cleaning, and 0° for spot cleaning or tight spaces. The last one is the Soap nozzle for cleaning with detergent. With the nozzle attached and the washer plugged in, you can turn on the tap and switch the power dial at the front of the machine to On.

Turn the switch to the ON position to start the pressure washer (Fig. 17). Make sure the On/Off switch is set to the OFF position before plugging the unit into the power outlet (Fig. 14). Connect the high-pressure hose to the water outlet on the washer (Fig. 11).WARNING!

Unfortunately, you can’t do that with the SPX3000, with the only adjustment coming from fitting a different pressure washer nozzle. The SPX3000 isn’t intended to be a commercial-grade product, as it likely won’t stand up to the continuous, heavy-duty usage required by the likes of landscapers or auto-detailers, for example. We recommend a more powerful pressure washer with a metal frame in these situations, and while more expensive, they will better stand up to the additional stresses westinghouse pressure washers and strains of commercial use. The Sun Joe SPX3000 pressure washer is a great, powerful unit for cleaning everything from your car to your backyard or patio area. One of its main drawbacks though is how long it takes to put together, but since you’ll only need to do that once, it’s a small price to pay. In terms of accessories, the Sun Joe SPX3000 pressure washer has a 20 foot pressure hose, a clean-out tool, as well as five spray tips that easily connect to the end of the hose.
