The authors interviewed 147 families, primarily in and around Wilkes and Rockingham Counties,

Because of the volatile nature of many of the commonly used components, a tobacco left to “air out” may lose a lot of the perfume that’s applied this way.
I am excited to age this blend for a couple of months and see how it develops. Ignoring a great many factors (such as climate, soil, and time of harvest), the color of a VA relates to its sugar content. Tobacco that is cured longer (and is thus darker in color) will be less sweet than a tobacco cured quickly. This one offers a more authentic taste of American-grown tobacco for more seasoned smokers. Two minty kinds of pipe tobacco are available from Good Stuff. There’s no lingering aftertaste with this one’s intense, authentic menthol flavor.
Every nuanced syllable, every complex phrase rung true in merit and the parlance that transpired was truly comforting and most enchanting. The journey to Bag End took me there and brought me back to a state of joyful contentment without question. All of these bags have great paper labels as well as very minimal creasing but some due to age and use. These would be a great addition to any advertisement collection. These torquettes are put into barrels under extreme pressure, and allowed to cure in their own juices (which collect as run-off at the top of the barrels). Over the course of many months, these bundles are periodically “turned”, and then placed again under pressure in the barrels. Without any air to interact with the tobacco, Perique ferments anaerobically, producing the distinctive taste.

While the latakia is there, its not really apparent until I slow down and sip and savor the flavor this one has to offer. Although latakia is why I ordered it, I was not at all disappointed. This blend really showcased for me what latakia can do in the background, and it was the first to do that. You can still taste it, but the rest of the smoke is so creamy-smooth that you wouldn’t want to drown it out. My tour didn’t stop at Bag End, but definitely took a different route after the visit.
