Shark Navigator ZU62 Refurbished Self-Cleaning Brushroll Pet Vacuum

The experts in the Good Housekeeping Institute Cleaning Lab have tested hundreds of vacuum cleaners in our Lab and use the same process on all of them to ensure that every product is evaluated correctly. Using a custom-built vacuum testing machine, dirt is embedded into a test carpet, then each vacuum is passed over the carpet an equal number of times. By comparing the weight of the empty dust cup before testing and the dust cup’s weight after testing, our experts calculate just how much dirt is picked up by each vacuum. This robot vacuum and mop combo puts automated cleaning at your fingertips.

We consistently find that bissell handheld vacuums rank as some of our favorites across the board for their versatility, durability and ease of use. The tanks need to be switched when going from vacuuming to wet mopping, but they are easy to remove and empty when your robot is done cleaning. The SpinWave’s microfiber mopping pads are machine-washable and we found the brush roll easy to remove and clean. Plus, the mop pads spin as the robot travels across your floors, making sure that it is scrubbing and not just wiping them. The same SpinWave technology can also be found in the Bissell SpinWave Hard Floor Spin Mop, a top pick in our round-up of the best mops tested by our cleaning experts.

It took a bit of time to figure out how everything works in this vacuum, but it came with good directions. I used to have Dyson vacuum cleaner earlier, that I paid a lot more. It was great but Shark is doing at least as good job by getting rid of dog and cat hair and all other vacuuming in my house. I also find my new Shark vacuum cleaner much easier to empty. Shark vacuums are generally better built than BISSELL’s comparable offerings and deliver better overall performance.
