A true example of why size is not an inhibitor in the coffee maker world. The k mini and k-slim are both less than 5” in width so you’re sure to find a spot for them in your kitchen. Their size, however, does not take away from their performance. They are both able to produce a perfect cup in rapid time. If you are looking for a small coffee maker which can fit in your crammed countertop then the k-slim and k mini are going to be the perfect solution.
By using fresh water each time it makes the best coffee. You won’t be sorry by purchasing this style of Keurig. The removable drip trays in both models comes in handy here as you can just remove the whole plate after a spill and wash it over running water in the sink. Because of their small designs, there are fewer parts to keep cleaning. Keurig and their assortment of independent k cup makers has been the pinnacle of coffee makers for over a decade. Their machines are known to be reliable, long-lasting, and able to produce the perfect cup every single time.
It’s slightly smaller at 4.5 (11.4 cm) inches wide although I think the downsize is unnecessary, seeing there’s not much of a difference between 4.5 to 5 inches. The K Mini Plus includes storage for up to nine K-Cups, which the K Mini does not have. It also adds a strong brew button that lets you control your brew strength, unlike the original. You can remove the reservoir for easy filling on the Plus, while the original is locked onto the machine. This price Hamilton Beach point was previously only reserved for limited edition models, and even then only appeared a handful of times throughout the year. That means today’s coffee maker deals are offering a particularly impressive discount, and one that brings the $80 brewer down to a far more affordable position.
I can see it being used in studio flats, dorm rooms and office spaces rather than in larger, home kitchens – I think these home-from-home environments will really let The Keurig K-Mini shine. The Keurig K-Mini retails for $59.99 in matte black or my favorite, Oasis blue. It seems like a refreshing color for a coffee machine. Other than that, it’s affordable, it functions as intended and makes a basic cup of coffee for people in a hurry.
