It has an EasyClean system that lets you clean your shaver without needing to detach the head, making maintenance a piece of cake. The design of the storage unit with the cleaner isn’t the best. While definitely more expensive than the 5018s, the 5140s is a better shaver in every way. The current Series 5 generation is still one of the more compelling options in the mid-range segment.

Some advanced models of new generation Series 5 shavers come with attachment trimming combs. The combs are used to trim the beard in different lengths. That is a completely new experience with the Remington Shaver. If you see the older generation Braun Series 5 shavers, there is no facility to trim the beard in different lengths. Even there is no option to use a trimming comb on the built-in trimmer.
