For the price that it’s being listed for in most places, it is the best budget drone you can get on the market as 2021 is coming to an end. Maybe a mini 3 will come out, but for now if you want a budget professional drone, the mini 2 is your best bet. Let’s take the Mavic Air 2 for example, it’s half the price of the Mavic Pro 2 yet some people even prefer the 4K shooting quality of the Air 2 over the Pro 2 and it has some real competition. However; the Mini 2 is less than half the weight of the Air 2, making it the best traveler’s drone due to how compact it is.
Get the best value on product protection including fast repairs or replacements. It looks fine on smaller screens, but once you phantom 4 start editing your footage, you’ll immediately notice its drawbacks. Pixels become larger and footage loses its sharpness.
There are also potential security concerns with DJI drones. The US Interior Department and the Department of Justice are both reviewing — or have outright banned — the use of foreign-made drones. If you carry it on the shoulder, like it’s probably suppose to, I’m sure it’s more than fine. If you are replacing the case and buying a different charger, the combo is probably not a great deal. While the Mini 1 battery will fit and allow the drone to fly it really is not meant for the Mini 2. I’d stick to the battery made for it for the best performance. I know reports said Mini 1 li-ion battery can be used with Mini 2 drone, did it turned out it’s fully compatible (it won’t move around in the drone or damage the pins)?
