The WP2300 and WP2500have axial cam pumps powered by 160cc, Westinghouse OHV engines. The WP2700 and WP3000 use Kohler OHV 173cc and 196cc engines to power Axial piston pumps made by Annovi Reverberri. The engines on all four models are 4-cycle motors that provide plenty of power and fast, easy starting.
A gas pressure washer is one that uses gas instead of electricity for power. If your Westinghouse pressure washer won’t start after sitting, there are a few things you can check. Now if there is gas in the tank and it won’t start, check the spark plug.

This item is meant to be a rest for the wand when storing it on the unit. You have to maneuver a clip into a lower part of the washer body that requires flexing hard plastic; we were not able to accomplish this after repeated attempts. The Ivation was able to chip off paint in our paint removal test, but the power was controlled enough to clean grime off a wood deck without destroying it. The trigger lock mechanism for this unit is also well designed. There’s a block on the bottom of the spray wand you push over to the other side to lock, which feels very secure. It’s not easy to accidentally release or break this mechanism.
The SunJoe SPX3000 has not one but two onboard dispensers, and there’s a convenient knob near the handle of the unit to select which tank you’d like to draw from. The SunJoe SPX3000 offers the best of both worlds — it’s reasonably light yet still has decent-sized wheels. In fact, both SunJoe models tackle terrain better than many of the models with wheels because the handle location and the balance of these machines make them easy to push and pull around. The Westinghouse WPX3200 and the Simpson MSH3125 MegaShot knocked it out of the park, both earning the highest scores in this metric. Not all models had onboard detergent tanks, but they all had a way to use detergent. Some units had the bottle suspended on the machine somewhere or the ability to siphon from a detergent bottle on the ground. Materials of the spray wands and the body helped with overall appearance and usability. Some spray wands are made of plastic while some have stainless steel on the outside. It seems dangerous because water just sprays into the open grates on the back of the machine. The Sun Joe had an odd design with two detergent containers loosely sitting within its frame, and the other two machines don’t have built-in containers at all.
