Gently pull each of the onboard detergent tanks out of its storage position and fill each tank with detergent (Fig. 24). Do not make changes to the nozzle while the trigger is engaged. Doing so could result in damage to the pressure washer or injury to the user. Make sure the safety lock is down and in its original position (Fig. 20), then press the trigger for a few seconds until water flow is steady. This will allow air to escape and discharge any residual pressure in the hose.
Please be sure to register your unit beforehand to speed up this process. Certain products may require a serial number, typically found on the decal affixed to the housing or guard of your product. Turn off the water supply and squeeze the trigger to depressurize the unit. Failure to do so could result in personal injury due to discharge of high-pressure water. I was happy to put the Sun Joe SPX3000 Electric Pressure Washer to the test cleaning up my redwood deck and teak garden furniture. Machine was easy to use and the safety shut off feature is a plus. The SPX 3001 has plenty of power for an electric unit and more than adequate for home use.
Pneumatic tires can provide extra shock absorption, though they also lose air over time. In short, these two machines are functionally the same. They can both tackle Champion Power Equipment light, but versatile, cleaning tasks on your house’s exterior-mildew, insect splats, etc. This machine is also fairly quiet, reaching an average of 81 decibels.
