Lasko 1880 18″ Pedestal Fan with Remote Control

Once assembled, though, we were able to set the fan to oscillate and found it cooled off our testing room nicely. However, we cannot recommend this fan due to its unnecessary difficulty in assembling what should be a simple grille attachment. This Honeywell fan was simple for us to assemble, and we found it sturdy as well.

With a name like Hurricane, this fan had better be able to move a lot of air. It does, thanks to a 20-inch head that produces a max velocity of Lasko Box Fan 1,400 RPM. While it lacks the user modes of some other fans, it’s more powerful with its ability to move 4,500 cubic feet of air per minute.

If you are a light sleeper who plans to use a fan in your bedroom, finding a fan that is both quiet and effective is no easy feat. It has a silent mode, but even above silent mode, it can barely be heard. It has five speeds, and is designed to replicate the feeling of natural airflow.

After inspection by a Lasko service employee, the product will be determined defective or not and will have the option of being fully replaced or fixed. The warranty does not stand if the product is proven damaged due to improper handling/operation by the consumer, accidents, attempted repairs or other owner actions that void the warranty. We set up all the fans, one at a time, in the same spot and plugged into the same outlet in our approximately 1,250-square-foot finished basement. This was the same SensorPush we used when we tested the best dehumidifiers. This time, we noted the temperature of the basement before and after our two-hour tests by examining reports sent from the SensorPush. Free shipping and handling on eligible supply orders of $49 or more.

While the large profile of pedestal fans makes them somewhat awkward to transport from room to room, they are light enough at about 15 pounds to be lifted fairly easily. This light weight allows the user to maneuver the fan around a room to target specific areas or in and out of a closet for storage. Most pedestal fans have adjustable heights, which also allows the user to easily lower them to the shortest height, typically around 40 inches, for easier storage.
