All the food cooks evenly and it heats up really fast. Our last grill was much lighter and kept blowing over in severe weather; however, this weber genesis 2 grill is very heavy/sturdy and doesn’t budge in high winds. We have grilled steaks, burgers, and chicken so far, and all has turned out well.
Easy to put together, grills to perfection, nice sturdy design. Mine came with missing factory installed parts and I didn’t weber genesis 2 find out until it was almost fully assembled. The customer service was top notch and send me replacement legs right away.

Like the previous Genesis model, you have the option of using a lid-mounted thermometer or the excellent iGrill 3 Bluetooth Thermometer system which can be purchased as an optional extra. The updated GS4 grilling system is one of the main features of the Genesis II and Spirit II lines but not the Spirit line we are discussing today. This upgrade aims to improve grilling performance, allow for better management of grease and flare-ups, and promise better-tasting food overall. The Genesis II models also have higher BTU output owing to more burners. Some Genesis models also come with optional extras like an enclosed cart or a sear station.
