And that’s because the 5018s is significantly cheaper and the performance is also not quite at the same level as before. I wouldn’t be too worried about this as we’ve seen this happening with other newly launched Braun models in the past. Just make sure the cassette is completely dry before applying the lubricant. You may also use the included brush, but only on the inside of the cassette, never directly on the foils. But the truth is that it would have taken me less time to simply remove the cassette and give it a thorough rinse .
