So, the higher the PSI value, the more powerful the machine works. It comes with three nozzle tips that include 0 – Red which is suitable for direct and intense pressure. We took decibel measurements both right beside and twenty-five feet away from the machine, and the prognosis was loud. Always check the spray gun and trigger before starting the pressure washer. Make sure the trigger is in the off position and that the spray gun is tightly attached to the wand. In our test group, many other pressure washers had the GFCI built directly into the plug end, making it gigantic and either tedious or impossible to deal with when we had to plug in each washer. Another major factor in the power of a washer is simply how far away you hold the nozzle from what you’re cleaning. As Kramar explains at his site, “A little trick is to remember moving 2x further away will 1/2 the force the surface feels.” So just moving the nozzle lets you control the pressure.
For each machine, we pulled the trigger on the spray wand for thirty seconds and weighed the water to calculate the true GPM rating. It performed well in our real-world tests, such as removing dirt and grime in a neighbor’s backyard. It has no options for different cleaning tips, but likely because the lower power of this machine wouldn’t take advantage of them. For tougher stains, we had to move the tip closer to the surface and wait a bit longer. The power on this machine is fine for light cleaning tasks on siding, concrete and furniture if you’re on a budget. But if you can spend just a little bit more you have lots of better options.
However, after all, it’s a machine and it may fall victim to any malfunction anytime due to any discrepancy or lack of maintenance.
