Of course, this means the water tank will need refilling with each brew. This is one of the main differences between these smaller machines and other Keurig machines with a multi-cup water reservoir. Keurig K-Mini brews a perfectly satisfying cup of coffee. Though there’s no big fanfare or sophistication in flavors, K-Mini can do its job well. Further, the brewing process is extremely simple, easy and convenient. Keurig K-Mini seems to be reasonably priced given the features, technology and design.
Like its predecessor Keurig Mini, the brewer has a single cup reservoir. You can brew any cup size between 6-12 ounces depending on how much water you pour into the tank. A single cup reservoir Hamilton Beach ensures that the water is always fresh, but it will require some extra time for heating the water for each cup. The reservoir can be removed from the base so it’s easy to rinse and refill.
The K-Slim also doesn’t have the pod storage container and is only available in black. This contrasts with the K-Mini Plus, which is available in six colors and has a container. Without the “Strong Brew” Hamilton Beach feature, the water travels through the grounds at a standard flow rate. However, using the “Strong Brew” feature, the water spends longer in contact with the coffee grounds thanks to a slower flow rate.
