Traditionally, you can either collect grass into a bag or set the discharge chute cutting option. Surprisingly, the bag is smaller than in the cheaper Sun Joe MJ401E modification. However, a convenient grass indicator window is a nice worthy improvement. While the Sun Joe MJ401E-PRO is corded, it is electric; no gas required.

Even discharged battery packs contain some energy. Before disposing, use electrical tape to cover the terminals to prevent the battery pack from shorting, which could cause a fire or explosion. The handle on your lawn mower can be folded for compact storage. Start by loosening the handle knobs on each side of the upper handle and fold down the upper handle (Fig. 18). Do not cover the lawn mower with a solid plastic sheet.

Given the battery run time, you could conceivably mow a large (acre+) lawn with this mower but you’d spend most of your time emptying the grass bag! This feature alone leads me to only recommend the SunJoe mower if you have a small yard to mow. The SunJoe mower could definitely use a larger grass bag.
